The number on the scale means little to nothing when it comes to assessing your overall fitness and health, and it means even less when it comes to measuring progress. Don’t be fooled by sensationalist television shows or ads touting double or even triple-digit weight loss as a sign of anyone’s life improving. Everyone who cares about their health should know their body fat percentage to get a true baseline of their health and to be able to accurately assess progress.
During an X-ray, MRI, CT scan or other medical imaging procedure, patients are often expected just to follow instructions—sit there, lie there, turn this way, hold this, don’t move. Here at Reno Diagnostic Centers, however, we’re about transparency (in more ways than one!) and encourage our patients to fully understand their health care experience.

Led by Dr. Ross Golding, RDC instituted an era of higher standards for medical imaging by introducing the first MRI scanner to the state. This led to more accurate diagnostics, fewer false positives, less exploratory surgery, and greater overall health and well-being for citizens of the state.
